Registered Nurse - Bank

• Act as person in charge, standing in for the manager when required and acting on their instructions
• Ensure high standards of care for residents
• Carry out nursing tasks including medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic conditions
• Advise families and GPs of changes in residents' condition that give cause for concern, keeping them involved in choices about ongoing care
• Deploy and supervise care staff so that tasks are completed and residents receive required care
• Provide high standards of care through accurate assessment and planning

• First Level qualification
• Relevant post-basic studies or qualification

• Current NMC registration

• Minimum 2 years' experience of care
• Up-to-date knowledge of care

• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities
• Sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application

• DBS disclosure check, cost met by the employer
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
