Job Description & How to Apply Below

Are you a vet with around 3+ years' UK small animal experience who takes real pride in building meaningful client relationships and delivering thoughtful, high-quality care?

This well-established, independent practice in North West London that has built a reputation for doing things differently, prioritising time, communication, and clinical freedom to allow vets to practice the way they trained to.

This is a genuinely refreshing opportunity for a vet who values depth over volume, and wants to feel trusted, supported, and fulfilled in their day-to-day work.

This is a practice where decisions aren't dictated by targets, and your clinical voice is truly heard. With 20-30 minute consults and protected time built into the day for client communication, you'll be able to approach cases thoroughly and compassionately.

The team place huge importance on the human-animal bond, tailoring care to each individual patient and client. It's a calm, considered environment with a genuine focus on doing what's right, not just what's quick.

You'll be joining a collaborative, close-knit team with an emphasis on, supporting one another clinically and personally, playing to individual strengths within the team and creating a positive, low-drama working environment.

The practice also works alongside visiting specialists in cardiology, imaging, and advanced surgery, giving you exposure to more complex cases while still maintaining continuity of care.

This is a well-equipped, thoughtfully designed practice where you will have access to digital dental radiography and a dedicated dental suite, a full in-house lab, ultrasound, endoscopy, and bronchoscopy, separate cat and dog facilities, including wards and consult rooms and multi-parameter monitoring and a modern theatre

You’ll be involved in a varied caseload across medicine, surgery, and some emergency work, with the autonomy to manage cases in a way that aligns with your clinical judgement.

The Role:
  • Competitive salary (DOE)
  • 4-5 days per week with 1 in 3 Saturdays (with time off in lieu)
  • No out-of-hours
  • Protected admin and communication time built into the day
  • £1,500 CPD allowance with genuine support for development
  • RCVS and VDS fees paid
  • 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
  • Standard pension
  • Real scope for progression and clinical growth

For the right vet, this offers something increasingly rare: the ability to practise high-quality, relationship-led medicine without compromise.
