This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a
specialist certification role , supporting the assessment of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) used across the UK and Europe. Ideal for someone with technical admin, technical customer service, laboratory support, or compliance-related experience , this role offers variety, responsibility, and long-term career development.
The OpportunityYou’ll join an established PPE Certification function operating internationally, working with colleagues and clients across multiple countries. The team plays a critical role in ensuring products meet strict UK and EU regulatory standards, enabling manufacturers to legally apply CE and UKCA markings.
This is a role where accuracy, organisation, and communication are just as important as technical understanding.
What You’ll Be Doing- Assessing PPE products against relevant standards and regulations
- Reviewing technical documentation and preparing draft certification paperwork
- Interpreting performance standards and regulatory requirements
- Acting as a key point of contact for customers, providing clear guidance and progress updates
- Working closely with internal technical and quality teams
- Occasionally attending technical meetings or industry forums (UK and overseas)
- Technical customer service
- Technical administration or compliance support
- Laboratory admin or test support
- Certification, quality, or regulated environments
- PPE, manufacturing, engineering, or science-based industries
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Experience in a customer-facing or administrative role
- Ability to understand and work with technical or regulated information
- Excellent organisation, communication, and time management skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to travel occasionally (UK and overseas)
- Science-based degree or technical education
- Experience with in PPE, testing, manufacturing, or certification
- Knowledge of CE / UKCA marking or European regulations
- Laboratory or technical documentation experience
- Additional languages
- Salary up to £29,000 depending on experience
