Food Technologist
to join our Technical team.

This role plays a key part in ensuring the safety, quality, and compliance of both our branded and own‑label product ranges. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to uphold Odysea’s high standards and support the delivery of exceptional products to market.

• Act as a key point of contact for customers on all technical matters.
• Manage product specifications, QAS documents, technical questionnaires, packaging details, and general enquiries.
• Upload and maintain accurate information on retailer technical portals.
• Support the resolution of customer complaints through investigation and corrective actions.

• Liaise with suppliers on technical queries, compliance requirements, documentation, and sample management.
• Conduct supplier audits and support follow‑up actions to maintain high standards of food safety and quality.

• Maintain and continuously improve the Odysea Quality & Safety Management System.
• Support the BRC certification process.
• Assist with technical administration to ensure full regulatory and customer compliance.
• Handle packaging data requests and upload on relevant portals.

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to travel overseas (primarily within the EU) for supplier audits and visits.
• Experience with retailer portals is desirable.
