Community of Practice Officer - Audit & Feedback Officer (Quality Assurance)
No one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. St John Ambulance teaches people first aid so they can be the difference between life and death, and you can help us do this.
Assurance & Quality gathers information to evidence compliance with legislation, external regulatory requirements and SJA policies and processes. They are responsible for undertaking assurance and audit activities across the region with the primary objective of producing evidence to support our ongoing regulatory compliance. We are now looking at recruit volunteers to provide support and assistance within the team at both an officer and team member level.
Officers lead on a local level and would be involved in supporting District Leadership Teams but we are also after people who do not necessarily have the time to undertake a full officer role but would like to support SJA to deliver good quality clinical care as team members.
Post holders will be responsible for key projects and work streams, whilst supporting a group of county quality assurance leads in a selected 'area' across the country. There is the expectation to be visible in the role, with requirements to attend some meetings in the evenings and potential rare meeting in the working day, as well as potential to support our audit activity at events in the evenings or at weekends.
