Senior Practitioner/SEND Auditor
Full‑time position based in Haringey, London, UK.
Salary: up to £50,890 per annum.
Responsibilities- To work closely with the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure the implementation and delivery of the Quality Assurance Framework through an agreed programme of audit activity.
- To undertake audits as directed by the Quality Assurance Manager, including working to audit specifications and writing bespoke audit tools.
- To analyse audit data and prepare written reports on the audit findings.
- To prepare reports and deliver presentations on audit fundings to staff at all levels of the Department.
- To support the quality assurance manager in embedding quality assurance processes across Children's Social Care.
- To work closely with the Children's Social Care Workforce Development Team to ensure that findings from quality assurance activity are reflected in appropriate training for staff.
- Through the quality assurance and audit process to report to the Policy and Procedures Officer to ensure that policies and procedures are relevant to the needs of children and families.
- Understanding, knowledge, and ability to follow guidelines that ensure compliance with Health and Safety at Work, Data Protection, & other statutory requirements.
- Understanding and commitment to promoting and implementing the Council's Equal Opportunities policies.
- To undertake any other temporary responsibilities aligned with the overall purpose and grade of the role.
- A social Work Qualification or equivalent.
- Understanding of relevant legislation.
- Registered or eligible for registration.
- Understanding, knowledge, and ability to follow guidelines to ensure compliance with Health and Safety at Work, Data Protection, & other statutory requirements.
- This post requires registration with the relevant health professional council/governing body (Social Care England).
