Position

Sanctuary Personnel is offering a permanent full‑time SEND Senior Practitioner Auditor role based in Haringey.

Salary: up to £50,890 per annum.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance Manager and SEND Performance Manager to ensure the implementation and delivery of the SEND Quality Assurance Framework through an agreed programme of audit activity.
  • Allocate audits of EHCPS and Annual Reviews as directed by the Quality Assurance Manager, including working to audit specifications and writing bespoke audit tools.
  • Analyse audit data and prepare written reports on the audit findings.
  • Prepare reports and deliver presentations on audit findings to staff at all levels of the Department and to partners from agencies who support statutory assessment, including health and social care.
  • Support the Quality Assurance Manager in embedding quality assurance processes, including audit activity, across the SEND Service.
  • Collate, maintain and report on data identified areas of practice.
  • Work closely with the Children's Workforce Development Team to ensure that findings from quality assurance activity are reflected in appropriate training for staff.
  • Through the quality assurance and audit process report to the Policy and Procedures Officer to ensure that policies and procedures are relevant to the needs of children and families.
  • Understand and comply with guidelines that ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work, Data Protection and other statutory requirements.
  • Promote and implement the Council's Equal Opportunities.
  • Take on any other temporary responsibilities aligned with the overall purpose and grade of the role.
Qualifications
  • A Social Work Degree or equivalent.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation.
  • Social Work England registration.
  • Past management experience.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good timekeeping skills.
