JR PAT Testing is growing rapidly across the UK, and we would love to speak with you if you are an experienced PAT Engineer with the equipment and insurance in place.
If you are already self‑employed or considering becoming self‑employed, we would like to hear from you.
Our onboarding process starts with a friendly conversation. All our engineers are to have their own insurance and to have their equipment calibrated at least once a year. In return, along with our engineer handbook, contract for services and branded clothing, we supply labels and technical support.

JR PAT Testing is an expanding PAT and Compliance Company currently looking for engineers to join our team in Bexley. We offer self‑employed positions with flexible hours, allowing interested individuals to work either part‑time or full‑time.
To apply, you must have your transport or means to get to work and equipment, hold a City & Guilds 2377 PAT qualification or equivalent, be reliable and honest, and have a “can‑do” attitude.
All necessary equipment, including testing instruments, measuring devices and additional tools, must be kept up‑to‑date, in good working order, and meet relevant regulations.
Responsibilities include traveling to various sites, performing portable appliance testing on a range of equipment, recording results, and providing completion certificates and checklists to employers.
