Vehicle Inspector - Mobile

NSL, part of Marston Holdings Ltd, offers a full‑time permanent role for a Vehicle Inspector.

As a Vehicle Inspector you will carry out inspections in line with Transport for London (TfL) Quality Assurance systems.

• Inspect taxis and private hire vehicles to meet TfL licensing criteria.
• Record inspection findings using PCs and handheld computers.
• Liaise with customers, offering feedback, advice and guidance on rectifications and re‑booking.
• Update the system with vehicle changes, damage reports or new documentation.
• Liaise with colleagues and TfL on policy, procedures and changes.

• Full UK Driving Licence and experience driving manual vehicles.
• Close attention to detail when checking documentation and vehicles.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Effective time‑management and organisational skills.
• Strong report‑writing abilities.

• Hours:
  
  Monday‑Friday, 8.5 hours a day with potential overtime and weekend work.
• Full‑time contract: 42.5 hours per week.
