About the Role
We at PEI Group are looking for a Senior Research Associate, Quality & Excellence to join our welcoming, diverse and growing team in London. The successful candidate will work as part of a team responsible for ensuring the quality of all outputs on PEI's database products and will uphold the highest standards of quality for all research and data published by PEI.
Responsibilities- Quality Control: work on the quality control process for updating profiles on PEI’s database products, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Review research carried out by team members to identify and correct mistakes, inconsistencies and missed information.
- Develop and implement quality assurance standards and procedures to maintain the integrity of the database.
- Collaborate with researchers and senior managers to ensure consistency and adherence to quality guidelines.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices for data entry and quality assurance.
- Utilise data analysis tools to identify patterns and trends in errors across the data set.
- Provide detailed feedback and recommendations for improving data quality and reducing errors.
- Assist senior managers in identifying wider gaps and systemic issues within the database.
- Prepare and present regular quality assurance reports to senior management, highlighting key findings and areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry standards and advancements in quality assurance practices to continuously enhance the QA process.
- Monitor and report error trends using a pre‑defined quality control checklist, including error rates, fill rates, gap analysis, and metrics around missed information by researchers.
- Ensure timely and accurate data flow into the database, maintaining high quality standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail.

- An inquisitive nature and a proactive, methodological and enthusiastic approach to work.
- Working knowledge of financial markets (preferred).
