We’re recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a well-established engineering business in Ferndown, supporting work within an aerospace environment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in accuracy, understands regulated standards, and is confident working with precision components.

As a Quality Inspector
, you’ll be responsible for inspecting components and assemblies to ensure they meet strict aerospace standards. You’ll play a key part in maintaining quality compliance across the shop floor.

• Carrying out first-off, in-process, and final inspection of components
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Using a range of inspection tools and measuring equipment
• Recording inspection results and completing documentation
• Supporting non-conformance investigations and corrective actions

• Previous experience as a Quality Inspector within an aerospace environment
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
• Confident using manual inspection tools (e.g. verniers, micrometers, gauges)
• Good attention to detail and a methodical approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Up to £20 per hour
• Overtime paid at time and a half
• Ferndown location
