We are seeking a suitably experienced and highly motivated individual to join us. This role will perform the duties of the Quality Manager, taking sole ownership of the companies Quality Management System. This position requires the individual to have worked in a similar capacity previously with a proven track record. The role is based at our London office.

You should be able to be client facing with the ability to develop strong relationships within the company and others. You will work as part of a team but should be happy working independently. This role involves working closely with the engineering staff, and would suit a bright, confident individual, with a positive outlook and good communication skills.

As Quality Manager you will:

The Quality Manager will collaborate with technical members of staff as outlined in the section below. The role will be consistent with company processes, values, and timelines to ensure that team and company goals are met. The role may include Line management of QA staff across the UK offices.

The role will include but not exclusively:

Perform duties of the Quality Manager, including audits, updates, system maintenance/improvements including all necessary duties to ensure our quality management system is fully operational and effective.

ISO Compliance Activities
  • External audit, including preparation, scheduling & Action external audit OFIs.
  • Internal audit timetables and implementation
  • Implement procedures in line with QMS.
  • Conduct and minute internal QMS management meetings.
  • Updates of QMS as required including changes within the ISO framework.
  • Implementation and consistency of ISO across the UK offices
  • Ownership of Practice Quality Manual
  • Assist to monitor company suppliers register.
  • Review and maintain Company Risk & Opportunities register, Corrective Action, Continual Improvement, Non-Conformity and Customer Satisfaction Log(s)
Quality Management Activities
  • Procedure updates and monitoring related to lessons learned and QMS.
  • Standardisation of documents, inc. maintain Document Register/Intranet Portal(s)
  • Establish and maintain SharePoint standard document/template ‘Library.’
  • Establish roles and responsibilities in specific procedures (i.e., BIM Model Share)
  • Conduct Inductions and periodic training.
  • Promote Quality and Constancy across all the Companies activities

Your Qualifications/Skills
  • Proficiency in Day-to-day implementation of company processes in respect of, ISO 9001 (+ Knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO 27001 also desirable) HS&E and CDM
  • Have completed ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Training Course & hold current Certification
  • Experience of ISO Standards and auditing
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Experience of Deltek Vision (desirable)
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Extremely detail orientated and methodical
  • Adaptable to varying responsibilities and tasks.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Highly proactive with the ability to set priorities, follow up and meet deadlines.
  • Able to communicate clearly, get on well with others at all levels and work well in a team.
  • Ability and interest in facilitating continual improvement systems.
