Job Description We are looking for a talented Senior Quality Engineer to join a leading organisation delivering complex engineering and infrastructure programmes within a highly regulated environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring quality standards are achieved across major projects, supporting the implementation of robust quality processes and driving continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
Working closely with project teams, suppliers and key stakeholders, you will help ensure that products, processes and deliverables meet the highest levels of compliance, safety and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the development, implementation and maintenance of quality management systems.
Ensure compliance with client, regulatory and organisational quality requirements.
Conduct audits, inspections and surveillance activities across projects and suppliers.
Review and approve quality documentation, procedures and records.
Investigate non-conformances and support root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
Monitor quality performance metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Work closely with engineering, project management and supply chain teams to ensure quality requirements are fully understood and implemented.
Support supplier quality assurance activities and performance assessments.
Prepare reports and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
Proven experience as a Quality Engineer, Senior Quality Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer or similar.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems and quality assurance methodologies.
Experience working within regulated industries such as engineering, energy, infrastructure, defence, aerospace, rail, construction or manufacturing.
Good understanding of ISO 9001 and auditing principles.
Experience managing non-conformances, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalentmilitary experience.
Desirable
Skills:
Internal or Lead Auditor qualification.
Experience working on large-scale engineering or infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of supplier quality management and quality planning processes.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements within highly regulated environments.
