Junior Garment Technologist, Jersey – Central London | Up to £50,000 | Hybrid Working

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading high-street fashion retailer with a strong UK presence and a reputation for delivering trend-led products to millions of customers.

We are looking for a Junior Product Technologist to join the Jersey team, supporting the development of high-quality products from concept through to production. This role is ideal for a technically minded professional who enjoys working collaboratively across design, buying, merchandising and supply chain teams to ensure products meet the highest standards of fit, quality and performance.

You will take ownership of your product area, managing the technical development process from initial fit through to final production approval. Working closely with internal teams and suppliers, you'll help ensure products are commercially viable, fit for purpose and delivered to the expected quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage fit sessions and product approvals within your category.
  • Ensure quality, testing and compliance standards are maintained throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Design, Buying and suppliers to develop products that meet customer expectations.
  • Review construction methods, fabrics and trims to ensure suitability for production.
  • Identify and mitigate product risks before production.
  • Monitor quality performance and customer returns, driving continuous improvements where required.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers to achieve quality and fit objectives.
  • Support product testing, compliance, packaging and labelling requirements.
  • Analyse performance data and provide recommendations for future improvements.
About You
  • Previous experience within a Product Technology, Garment Technology or Quality role in fashion, apparel or retail.
  • Strong understanding of garment fit, construction and quality standards.
  • Knowledge of product testing, grading and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
