Temp to Perm Opportunity We are currently recruiting for a Quality Technician to join an innovative engineering company based in Abingdon. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with experience in an engineering environment to join a growing team and play a key role in maintaining quality standards throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities Conduct in-process quality control checks during production, primarily through visual inspection of parts and review of production records. Raise non-conformance reports for products that do not meet quality requirements. Inspect and review reworked products to ensure they meet the required standards. Document production process variations and support continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure quality procedures and standards are consistently maintained. Work closely with technicians, engineers, and management teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Essential Requirements Previous experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage with technicians, engineers, and managers. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment. A hands-on approach and willingness to learn new skills.
