Are you an experienced quality assurance professional and people leader, with significant expertise in complex case analysis and driving continuous improvement?

We are seeking a Lead Quality Assurance Manager to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team in a newly created role. Reporting to the Head of Quality Assurance, you will lead and develop a QA team of four to five Quality Assurance Managers and Quality Assurance Advisors, ensuring the consistent delivery of high‑quality assurance activity across the organisation.

The role

The QA team sits at the forefront of driving up standards and providing confidence to our key stakeholders in the delivery of our regulatory activities.

As Lead Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of the organisation's quality assurance programme, ensuring activities are delivered on time, to agreed quality standards, and aligned to business objectives across complex operational areas.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders to design, oversee and continuously improve quality assurance plans. You will also support the Head of Quality Assurance in the ongoing development of the QA strategy and the Quality Management System, helping to embed consistency, efficiency and best practice across the organisation.

This is an exciting time to join the team as we continue to measure the success of a large‑scale Continuous Improvement Programme within our Investigation and Enforcement Directorate and further strengthen our approach to quality and regulation.

There is a role profile attached at the bottom of the advert.

What we're looking for:
  • Proven experience as a people leader with strong resource management skills and a track record of developing high‑performing teams
  • Significant experience leading or delivering quality assurance and continuous improvement using best‑practice methodologies
  • Strong influencing and communication skills, with experience of engaging and building relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical skills, including developing and using management information and key performance indicators
  • Deep understanding of regulatory and operational risk and practical experience of undertaking and overseeing complex case analysis
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise and high‑quality reports
