Quality Assistant (12 month FTC) - London (2-3 days in office) - Competitive Salary

I am excited to be partnering with a global food manufacturer, with operations in over 35 markets, who are looking for a Customer Quality Assistant to join their team in Central London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing Quality function, playing a key role in ensuring product safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. You’ll work cross-functionally to investigate issues, support audits, and drive continuous improvement across a complex supply chain environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Coordinate and maintain customer questionnaire requests, tracing and monitoring progress through internal systems
  • Complete technical forms using regulatory, supplier, and product information to meet agreed service levels
  • Support customer complaint handling and drive timely resolution
  • Identify trends and provide reporting on quality performance
  • Take ownership of customer online portals, responding to technical queries relating to ingredients, product specs, quality, safety, and regulatory matters
  • Coordinate third party lab testing and analysis, including sample submissions, reporting, and follow up activities
In order to be successful
  • 1+ year experience in a quality, technical, or R&D role within the food, ingredients, or supplements industry
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance processes and safety standards
  • Knowledge of food legislation and labelling requirements
  • Strong understanding of BRC, HACCP, GMP standards
  • Experience with supplier quality and audit processes
  • Full permanent right to work in the UK
