Lettings Associate
- Key Responsibilities:

Leasing & Administration

Conduct viewings and respond to lettings enquiries promptly
Oversee referencing process and minimise delays
Train and mentor junior team members on lettings procedures
Achieve lettings targets and maximise occupancy rates
Conduct competitor analysis and mystery shopping
Update property listings on platforms (Rightmove, Zoopla, etc.)
Process applications, background checks, and credit checks
Manage deposit protection and check-in/check-out reports
Collect rents and record transactions in property management system (Yardi)
Customer Service

Provide exceptional service to residents, prospective tenants, and visitors
Address resident issues within 24 hours
Handle complex lettings queries escalated from junior staff
Promote community atmosphere and participate in resident events
Exceed customer service expectations

Property Upkeep

Comply with fire safety and health & safety standards
Conduct scheduled flat inspections
Assist with reactive maintenance and defects management
Monitor property cleanliness and appearance

Requirements:

Experience in property lettings or related sector
Strong sales skills and proven track record meeting targets
Excellent customer service and organisational skills
Intermediate IT skills (Microsoft Office, property management systems)
Ability to work Saturdays and public holidays
Desirable: ARLA qualification, Yardi knowledge, private residential sector experience
