Home ownership Officer – Islington

Full Time – Temp

A fantastic opportunity to join a well-respected Housing Association in Islington as a Home ownership Officer, providing expert leasehold and homeowner support across a busy portfolio.

THE ROLE

As a Home ownership Officer, you will deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service to homeowners, ensuring queries are resolved efficiently and estates are well managed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing homeowner enquiries including covenant breaches, ASB and general leasehold queries
  • Liaising with contractors and managing agents to ensure repairs and estate services are delivered to a high standard
  • Processing staircasing, resales, lease extensions and Right to Acquire applications
  • Assisting with service charge calculations, enquiries and statutory Section 20 consultation
  • Welcoming new residents and ensuring a professional onboarding experience
  • Monitoring communal areas and neighbourhood standards, ensuring compliance with health & safety
  • Recording all customer contact accurately on the housing management system
THE CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar Home ownership, Leasehold, or Housing Officer role within the housing sector.

You will also have:

  • Strong knowledge of leasehold management and the affordable housing sector
  • Experience working with housing management systems
  • Excellent customer service skills with a proactive, solution-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and prioritise workloads
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders
THE CONTRACT

Working Hours:

35 hours per week

Length of

Contract:

3 Months, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Rate: £23.01 to 24.87 per hour LTD. PAYE equivalent £19.62 - £21.20 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
