About

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced, commercially minded Client Director to join our Real Estate team. This senior role is pivotal in ensuring our major real estate clients receive exceptional service, tailored insurance solutions, and strategic guidance across diverse and complex property portfolios. You’ll bring deep sector expertise, strong relationship skills, and the confidence to operate at board level as you drive retention, ambitious growth, and long‑term client value.

It’s a multifaceted position that blends new business development, high‑level client management, and market‑leading placement strategy.

What you will be doing
  • Leading the development of SRG’s real estate proposition in the market, including branding development initiatives
  • Driving account plans that support retention, growth, and cross‑portfolio opportunities
  • Acting as the primary strategic adviser across multi‑asset real estate portfolios
  • Designing and overseeing the placement and renewal of complex insurance programmes
  • Ensuring all arrangements meet lender, lease, and asset‑management requirements
  • Building strong, influential relationships internally as well as with insurers and key market partners
Who we are looking for
  • Expertise and proven experience across commercial property and real estate risk, with essential exposure to the residential and living sectors
  • Strong background managing mid‑market, multi‑location property portfolios
  • Leadership experience with the ability to guide, influence, and inspire
  • Strong negotiation skills supported by deep market knowledge
  • Demonstrated track record of managing major corporate accounts
  • Confident communicator able to influence effectively at senior level
  • Strong networker who builds long‑term, relationship‑driven partnerships
  • Someone who cares about developing both the company’s brand and their own professional profile, contributing regularly to the market through thought leadership
  • Energetic, ambitious, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment
  • ACII qualified or working towards this designation (preferred)
What you will get
  • 27 days holiday plus an extra half‑day off to celebrate your birthday month
  • Company pension scheme to help secure your future
  • Private medical cover for peace of mind
  • Life insurance, income protection and sick pay to support you when you need it
  • Charity and volunteering days so you can give back to causes you care about
What to expect

At SRG, our colleagues are at the heart of everything we do. We pride ourselves on fostering an inclusive, respectful culture, one where people feel empowered, valued, and equipped for growth. We embrace new ideas, adapt to challenges, and celebrate shared success.

We’re committed to making our recruitment process and workplace accessible to everyone. If you have a disability or require any adjustments, whether during the hiring process or in your day‑to‑day role, we’ll work with you to ensure you have the support you need. Just let us know how we can help.
