Overview

Launch your graduate career in 2027 with Montagu Evans as a Planning Graduate!

Montagu Evans is a UK property consultancy that helps clients unlock value from complexity, because that's where the most meaningful opportunities live.

Our purpose is to bring clarity, creativity, and conviction to the complex. We are experts who collaborate to create value, not just preserve it and our team is built for impact, not oversight.

We specialise in high-value, complex assets across the property lifecycle, where political, technical or commercial challenges demand a joined-up approach.

The Team

Planning is one of the largest departments at Montagu Evans and one of the biggest Planning departments operating in the UK. The role will offer the right Graduate a great career opportunity to work within a busy and growing team. Successful candidates will have opportunities to work in teams for several partners on a variety of projects across Housing & Land, Commercial and Central London.

Graduates gain exposure to projects and colleagues from across all planning groups while collaborating closely with other Montagu Evans specialisms, including advisory, market specialisms, socio-economics and strategic consulting.

Role Overview

Our two-year Graduate Program is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience working directly alongside Partners and other senior colleagues across the business. From day one, your team will value your perspective, give you real responsibility and rely on your contribution. Over the course of your training, your knowledge, skills and experience will grow, preparing you for your Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) with the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and a successful and rewarding career with us.

The structured training programme will allow you to gain experience across a range of project and clients with comprehensive support from peers and mentors. You will have genuine responsibility from day one with exposure to some of the largest commercial, residential and mixed-use property projects in the UK today. We encourage all our Graduates to explore, question and collaborate across the business.

We invest in our Graduates over two years with the purpose of building long term careers. We offer a market-leading salary, benefits and lots of opportunities for learning, development and progression.

With a keen interest and awareness of property news/industry and the current market, you will be able to demonstrate a great understanding of how you apply what you have learnt at university to real property matters.

  • Research, analyse and present a range of property data
  • Inspect, measure and value a range of property types across the UK
