A specialist postgraduate university in the UK is looking for a Research Assistant in Lightweight Structures to join the Advanced Lightweight Structures Group. This role is centered around the EU-funded CRYOSTAR project, aimed at developing crash worthiness methodologies for liquid hydrogen tanks in aircraft. Candidates should have a Master's degree and expertise in finite element analysis, impact analysis, and structural mechanics.
The successful applicant will start by July 2026 and work full-time under a fixed-term contract.
