Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Esher for a Research Assistant at the Epilepsy Research Institute. The Research Assistant will support ongoing research initiatives, assist in data collection and analysis, and contribute to the publication of findings. Responsibilities include conducting laboratory experiments, documenting and analyzing data, performing literature reviews, and collaborating with research teams to advance the understanding and treatment of epilepsy.

The role also involves preparing reports, presentations, and engaging in team meetings to provide updates on research progress.

Qualifications
  • Strong Research and Analytical Skills for problem-solving, literature reviews, and experimental design
  • Proficiency in Data Analysis and related tools to interpret and manage research findings
  • Expertise in Laboratory Skills, including the ability to carry out experiments and maintain equipment
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear reporting and team collaboration
  • Experience with scientific writing or publications is advantageous
  • Knowledge of neuroscience or related fields is beneficial
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline such as Biology, Neuroscience, or a related area
  • Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
