Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Microbiology profession alto support laboratory activities related to the cultivation, monitoring, and development of bacterial cultures. The role involves hands‑on microbiologicalwork, data collection, and continuous improvement of culturing methods from laboratory scale up to pilot line level. In addition, the candidate will supportany relevant ad hoc laboratory projects as assigned.
Key Responsibilities- Cultivateand maintain microorganisms/bacterial cultures using establishedtechniques and standard laboratory protocols.
- Monitorbacterial growth through routine observations, measurements, and documentation (e.g., optical density, colony counts, morphology or viasensor derived techniques such as pH).
- Develop,optimize, and validate bacterial culturing methods, media formulations,and growth conditions to support research or production goals.
- Record,analyze, and report experimental data accurately in laboratory notebooksor electronic systems.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety, biosafety, and quality standards (e.g.,SOPs, GLP, GMP where applicable).
- Maintainlaboratory equipment, prepare media and reagents, and manage cultureinventories.
- Supportcross‑functional or ad hoc projects as assigned, including troubleshootingexperiments, method transfers, or process improvements.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and scientific objectives.
- Bachelor’sdegree (or equivalent) in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology, or arelated scientific field; 1-2 years’ experience preferred. Fresh graduateare also welcome to apply.
- Hands‑on experience with microbial/bacterial culturing techniques.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques, basic microbiological assays, and laboratorydocumentation practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols precisely.
- Good organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Abilityto manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing project priorities.
- Willingness to learn and achieve progress towards the assigned goals.
- Experience with method development or optimization of microbial growth conditions.
- Knowledge of biosafety practices and regulatory environments.
- Experience working in research, industrial, or quality-controlled laboratorysettings.
