User Researcher – Role Overview

As a User Researcher within a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for understanding user needs, behaviours, and challenges through high-quality research. You will ensure that products and services are grounded in evidence-based insights, aligned with standards.

• Research Planning & Delivery Plan, design, and conduct user research activities using appropriate qualitative and quantitative methods.
• User Engagement Recruit, engage, and build relationships with representative users and key stakeholders to ensure diverse and relevant input.
• Insight Generation Analyse research findings and synthesise data into clear, actionable insights that inform product decisions.
• Communication & Influence Translate research outcomes into concise recommendations for project teams and stakeholders, driving user-centred decision-making.
• Knowledge Management Build and maintain research repositories, ensuring documentation is accessible, organized, and reusable across teams.
• Ethical Practice Uphold ethical research standards, including obtaining informed consent and safeguarding participant data.
• User Advocacy Champion user needs across the organization, ensuring that evidence and insights remain central to product development.

You will play a key role in shaping user-centred products by embedding research at every stage of the development lifecycle, ensuring that solutions meet real user needs and deliver meaningful outcomes.
