Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with the Chief Editor and editorial team on manuscript selection, commissioning and editing of Reviews, Perspectives, Comments, and other content.
Write original articles for the journal, ensuring high scientific and editorial quality.
Determine and champion the representation of relevant social science perspectives in the journal.
Engage with research communities through institutional visits, conferences, and other outreach activities.

Qualifications

Essential: PhD with a strong track record in research relevant to energy social sciences (energy policy, governance, economics, market dynamics, societal responses, energy transitions, justice and equity).
Broad scientific knowledge and training across natural and social sciences.
Excellent literary and communication skills.
Ability to quickly absorb new areas of research.
Desirable: Postdoctoral experience.
Previous editorial experience.
