Program / Project Manager, Operations Manager
Location: Greater London
They’ve recently won a number of exciting new projects and are now looking for a Project Manager who is comfortable working across both quantitative and qualitative research. They would also be open to people from a broader agency project management background, especially if you’ve had exposure to quant and qual research even if you haven’t worked in a pure research environment before.
A strong understanding of project management fundamentals is essential.
You’ll be joining a collaborative team of market research and business experts, playing a key role in keeping complex research projects running smoothly. From coordinating internal teams and external partners to making sure delivery stays on track, you’ll help ensure each project is managed efficiently and with real attention to quality.
This is a chance to join a high-performing central project management function, working closely with senior leaders across research, product, and fieldwork. The team is small, knowledgeable, and full of character, so they’re looking for someone who can bring energy, confidence, and a hands-on approach from day one. You’ll have plenty of autonomy, but you’ll also need to be comfortable jumping in quickly and taking ownership.

- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and workshops.
- Oversee delivery, remove blockers, and make sure research milestones are met.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, keeping them updated and raising risks where needed.
- Coordinate with a dedicated team of lead and junior researchers, project managers, and specialists.
- Support and guide newer team members on ways of working and key processes.
- Manage research fieldwork with panel providers and marketplace partners.
- Lead team meetings, track progress, and help create case studies that highlight project outcomes.
- Proven project management experience in a fast‑paced market research, agency, or wider commercial setting.
- A solid grounding in project management fundamentals, with experience using MS Project, Gantt‑style tools, or similar systems for planning rather than relying on Excel alone.
- Experience running RAGs, financial reconciliation, and other core project controls.
- Strong fieldwork experience.
- Ideally, experience with brand trackers and/or segmentation projects.
- Confidence managing multiple research projects with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including fieldwork teams.
- Excellent organisation and a strong eye for detail.
- Strong client communication skills, with the confidence to build relationships from start to finish in a professional but personable way.
- The ability to motivate, support, and mentor others, whether they’re more experienced or newer to the team.
- A proactive, analytical mindset with the ability to spot issues early and solve problems quickly.
- Experience using tools such as MS Excel, and formal project management training such as PRINCE2, Scrum, Lean, or Kanban.
- Open to candidates from agency, research, or commercial backgrounds – energy, initiative, and personality will go a long way with this intelligent and collaborative team.
