The Speechmark, London or Newbury + Hybrid. Salary:
Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits.

Working Hours:

Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday.

Hybrid work model:
We do not require you to be in on specific days; instead, we ask people to come into the office 2-3 days each week, for at least 8 days per month. You should work with your line manager to understand what their expectations are for you, your specific role and your team.

What you’ll do
  • Provide insight to inform pricing & portfolio decisions, including value perception, price sensitivity, competitive benchmarks and portfolio optimisation.
  • Execute ad-hoc research according to concept development & positioning frameworks for products and propositions, ensuring recommendations for brand, go‑to‑market and commercial teams.
  • Conduct analysis of available data manipulation tools (e.g. ‘Q’) to increase research ROI, reduce response times to business questions and uncover new insight.
  • Support the Tech
    360 process and develop a continuous market understanding process integrating behavioural, attitudinal, competitive and category insight across Business and Consumer.
  • Apply and pilot advanced insight methods, including AI enabled analytics, text mining and synthesis tools to improve speed and depth of insight generation.
  • Support and deliver product in‑market experience insight, analysing adoption, usage, satisfaction, NPS and churn indicators to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Translate complex data into actionable recommendations, producing clear narratives for stakeholders across strategy, product, brand and commercial teams.
  • Produce high quality insight materials for leadership review, strategic planning and decision‑making forums.
  • Manage research partners to ensure high quality, timely and cost‑effective delivery of qualitative, quantitative and analytics projects.
  • Support insight capability development, sharing best practices, frameworks and tools with the wider insight community.
Who you are
  • Experience in B2C/B2B customer/market insight, research, analytics or strategy support, ideally within telecoms, technology or a comparable consumer industry (research agency or client‑side).
  • Strong skills in conducting qualitative and quantitative research (especially questionnaire/discussion guide design and interpretation) including concept testing, product experience insight and pricing research.
  • Advanced ability to explore, analyse and interpret complex datasets (e.g. Tech
    360, customer behaviour, market benchmarks, CX) using analysis tools e.g. Excel or ‘Q’ to generate clear insight‑led recommendations.
  • Familiar with advanced analytics or AI enabled methods (e.g. clustering, text analysis, synthesis tools).
  • A service‑minded attitude with experience of partnering with product, propositions, commercial, pricing and brand teams on insight‑led decision‑making.
  • Highly developed analytical, problem‑solving and critical thinking skills in a time‑pressured environment with excellent written and verbal communication and storytelling capability, able to turn data into compelling narratives and present them clearly and confidently.
  • Experience of managing agency partners and research suppliers, ensuring high‑quality delivery at pace.
