We are seeking experienced Freelance Quantitative Research Specialists to join our Associates pool, including statisticians, psychometricians and economists. Associates work with us on short-term, ad hoc projects, providing specialist expertise to support high‑quality research.

The National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER) is the UK’s leading independent provider of education research and insights. Our work supports evidence‑informed policy and practice, helping to improve outcomes for learners.

• Strong background in statistics, economics, psychometrics or related disciplines
• Proven experience in quantitative research and data analysis
• Ability to deliver high‑quality work independently and to deadline
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Experience in education or public sector research is desirable but not essential.
