This is a full-time, on-site Research Assistant role based in London. The Research Assistant will support product, customer, and market research initiatives to help inform inventory decisions, pricing, and new product offerings. Day-to-day tasks include collecting and organizing data on bicycle components and models, assisting with customer surveys, and compiling competitor and market trend reports. The role also involves basic data analysis, preparing clear summaries and presentations of findings for internal stakeholders, and maintaining accurate research documentation.
The Research Assistant will collaborate closely with the product, sales, and operations teams to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Strong analytical skills and data analysis abilities to interpret quantitative and qualitative information.
- Demonstrated research skills, including designing basic studies, gathering data, and reviewing relevant literature or market sources.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly in written reports and verbal updates.
- Basic laboratory or technical skills relevant to product testing, measurements, or structured evaluations (experience in a workshop, engineering, or scientific setting is helpful).
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency with common productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software); experience with basic statistical or data visualization tools is an advantage.
- Interest in cycling, bicycle mechanics, or the cycling industry is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Research, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline) preferred.
