Job overview

The NIHR UCLH Clinical Research Facility is a well-established platform that supports both academic and commercial clinical trials across two sites. We are seeking a self‑motivated, enthusiastic Data Administrator to manage data entry and data management for a portfolio of trials, from first‑into‑human studies through complex phase 3 and experimental non‑IMP studies. The incumbent will ensure high‑quality data in line with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) principles, and UK Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trials) Regulations.

The Data Administrator will support the CRF in data entry and management across all therapeutic areas. The role may require working across both CRF sites according to study portfolio needs.

Person specification Knowledge and qualifications
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, with a minimum Grade C in English and Maths.
  • Knowledge of the drug development process and clinical trial concepts.
  • Knowledge of ICH GCP.
  • Science‑related degree or equivalent.
Skills and abilities
  • Ability to make decisions in a constantly changing environment using judgement to handle queries or escalation when necessary.
  • Capability to prioritise tasks and work flexibly and effectively under pressure, with supervision if required.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience of meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel and database use.

  • Ability to identify own training needs.
  • Displays a desire for professional and personal development.
