Turn Data Into Insight. Help Organisations Make Better Global Decisions

What if your research and analysis helped shape decisions for organisations operating in more than 180 countries?

At ECA International, trusted data is at the heart of everything we do.

Our products, technology and insights help multinational organisations understand the true cost of international mobility, benchmark compensation, support expatriates and make confident workforce decisions around the world.

Behind that data is our Product Analytics team - a group of curious, analytical thinkers who transform complex global information into trusted insight.

We’re looking for a Research & Data Analyst to join that team.

This is far more than a traditional research role. You’ll combine research, data analysis and emerging AI-powered techniques to help build and maintain one of the world’s leading global mobility data sets, supporting products relied upon by organisations and international assignees across more than 500 cities worldwide.

If you’re naturally curious, enjoy working with data and want to build a career where technology, AI and analytics come together, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role

As part of our Product Analytics team, you’ll help collect, analyse and interpret information that powers ECA’s products and services.

Working alongside experienced researchers, analysts and product specialists, you’ll contribute to projects that influence how global organisations support their international workforce.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting primary and secondary research across a wide range of global mobility topics.
  • Collecting, validating and organising information from surveys, databases, reports, AI tools and other trusted sources.
  • Analysing data to identify trends, patterns and meaningful commercial insights.
  • Supporting the creation of reports, presentations and recommendations for internal teams and clients.
  • Researching market trends, competitor activity and emerging developments within global mobility.
  • Exploring AI-supported and agentic research methods to improve the speed, quality and accuracy of research.
  • Working collaboratively across Product Analytics and the wider business to continuously improve research processes and data quality.

Every project is different, giving you the opportunity to continually expand your analytical skills while developing a strong understanding of international markets and global mobility.

We’re looking for someone with an analytical mindset who enjoys solving problems, asking questions and uncovering insights from data.

Whether you’ve recently graduated, completed an apprenticeship or already have some experience in research or analytics, you’ll be excited by the opportunity to learn and develop within an international data-driven business.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing accurate work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence working with Excel and an interest in data analysis.
  • Curiosity about how AI can improve research and analytical workflows.
  • A proactive approach to learning and continuous improvement.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while working collaboratively within a team.
  • An interest in global business, economics or international affairs.

It would be advantageous if you also have experience or exposure to:

  • SQL or Python.
  • Data analysis or statistical techniques.
  • Generative AI or agentic AI research tools.
  • Data platforms such as PostgreSQL or Snowflake.
  • Research, economics, business intelligence or market analysis through university, work experience or personal projects.

At ECA International, you’ll join a business where research, technology and data combine to solve complex global challenges.

You’ll work with experienced researchers, product specialists, engineers and analysts, developing valuable technical and analytical skills while contributing to products trusted by organisations worldwide.

Benefits include:

  • Hybrid working.
  • Excellent employee benefits.
  • Ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Exposure to modern research techniques, AI tools and data platforms.
  • A collaborative international culture where curiosity and innovation are encouraged.
  • The opportunity to build a career at the intersection of research, data and technology.

For more than 50 years, ECA International has helped organisations successfully manage international work forces.

Today, our data, technology and expert insight support businesses operating across more than 180 countries, helping them navigate global mobility, compensation, tax, cost of living and workforce planning with confidence.

By combining trusted research with innovative technology, we’re helping shape the future of global mobility.
