Do you want to help shape one of the world's leading engineering research environments?
As Research Strategy Officer in the Faculty of Engineering at Imperial, you will play a pivotal role in delivering Faculty-wide research initiatives, supporting fellowship and doctoral training programmes, and driving strategic priorities that enable our researchers to thrive.
Working closely with senior academics, professional services colleagues and external funders, you will help translate strategy into action and ensure the successful delivery of activities that enhance our research excellence.
What you would be doing
You will work across a diverse portfolio of research strategy activities, from supporting major funding and fellowship opportunities to managing key Faculty research committees and governance processes .No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to work across a wide range of strategic research priorities with colleagues from across Imperial and beyond.
What we are looking forWe're looking for a highly organised and proactive professional with experience working in a research-intensive environment and an interest in research strategy, funding and policy.
You'll be a confident communicator who can build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders, manage multiple priorities, and use evidence and insight to support decision-making.
Whether your background is in research management, academic administration or programme delivery, you'll bring excellent judgement, a commitment to continuous improvement and a passion for supporting world-leading research.

Further information
This is a full-time (35 hours per week, part-time applications will be considered) and fixed term post for 25 months.
You will be based at South Kensington Campus.
