Location: Greater London
Understanding Recruitment seeks a Founding Research Scientist for a UK Physical AI startup. You will lead research across robot learning, world models and VLA systems, turning insights into prototypes and real-world robotic experiments.
You’ll work without a fixed roadmap, testing new ideas on real hardware and publishing meaningful results while helping set the company’s long-term technical direction with a small, highly technical founding team.
