About the role

We are looking for a research assistant to support the multiomics analysis of the datasets from the EU-funded DISCOVER ME project. The post is based at Imperial College London at the Department of Metabolism, Digestion and Reproduction. The postholder will facilitate the establishment and deployment of large scale in silico multiomics systems biology pipelines to help understanding ME/CFS pathogenesis.

What you would be doing

You will analyse transcriptomics and metabolomics data from the DISCOVER ME cohort, and run single cell RNA-seq and metabolomics network propagation pipelines on high performance computing environments. This work is fully computational. Your duties will include code maintenance and documentation of the applied pipelines. You will also assist with the writing of reports to research sponsors, with presenting findings to colleagues, and assisting with the publication of findings.
