Our dearly loved bare brick Victorian railway arch is home to our first restaurant in the heart of Borough Market – where our journey started way back in the early Noughties as ‘Market Traders’. - Ensure all opening, handover and closing duties are completed as per Arabica’s Standards
- Ensure that all pots, pans and dishes are cleaned regularly throughout service, stored correctly, and kept in a neat order
- Ensure dishwasher is working correctly, at the required temperature, with correct levels of detergent and that the filters and inside are kept clean
- Assist in preparation of the food as requested
- Provide basic support to the kitchen team
- Ensure the daily, weekly and monthly kitchen cleaning duties are carried out thoroughly
- Support your work colleagues and foster a team spirit at all times (Health & Safety)
- Work cleanly, hygienically and safely at all times
- Report any food hygiene or H&S issues or incidents to the Manager on duty straight away
- Ensure that all areas within the kitchen are maintained to the agreed standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Organise, record and control the temperatures of all refrigerated units
- Any other reasonable task as requested by the head chef and sous‑chefs
