Key elements of your role as Assistant Reception Manager
  • To assist the Reception Manager in the building of an efficient department, by taking an active interest in the employees’ welfare, safety and development.
  • To assist the reception team in providing all staff with on‑going service standards training and food and beverage product knowledge.
  • To supervise other receptionists, ensuring that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained.
  • To strictly adhere to the department’s operational budget and ensure that all costs are controlled and expenditure approved.
  • To attend training and meetings as required by the Reception Manager.
  • To conduct and contribute to regular departmental communications meetings.
  • Manage the reception desk and the flow of service into the restaurant in the Managers absence
About you
  • You have 2 years + experience in this position
  • Solution‑driven individual able to work under the pressure of peak service
  • You love to wow guests with exceptional service
  • You have excellent English language skills
  • You are friendly and professional with plenty of charisma and flair
