Supervisor – Heard. Borough

Heard. is a smash burger concept from 2 Michelin-starred chef Jordan Bailey, bringing chef-level precision and bold flavour to fast‑casual dining. After touring the UK’s biggest events, we opened our first restaurant in Borough in February 2025 — now we’re looking for a sharp, high‑energy Supervisor to be the heartbeat of our daily service.

We need someone who leads by example, keeps the energy high when the queue is long, and ensures every burger leaving the hatch is perfect.

What You’ll Deliver in Year One
  • Set the Pace:
    Lead the floor during peak shifts, managing the flow of guests and delivery drivers to ensure "Michelin-standard" speed and quality.
  • Coach on the Fly:
    Act as the primary mentor for FOH Crew, ensuring new hires are up to speed on brand values and service steps within their first two weeks.
  • Open & Close with Precision:
    Take responsibility for key-holding duties, including opening the site to brand standards or executing secure cashing-up and shutdown procedures.
  • Quality Control:
    Monitor every plate and guest interaction, proactively resolving issues before they escalation and ensuring the "Heard." vibe is always on point.
  • Operational Support:
    Assist the Management team with daily stock checks, allergen log accuracy, and maintaining a gold-standard Health & Safety environment.
  • Drive Sales:
    Use your floor presence to encourage upsells and ensure the team is focused on guest conversion and satisfaction.
What You Bring
  • Experience:

    Previous experience as a Supervisor or Senior Team Member in a fast-paced, premium casual or high-volume QSR venue.
  • Energy:
    You’re a "floor general" who thrives under pressure and keeps the team motivated when it’s busy.
  • Eye for Detail:
    You notice the small things—from a smudge on a table to a slightly off-center burger—and you fix them instantly.
  • Reliability:
    You are punctual, trustworthy with cash handling, and serious about compliance (Food Safety/H&S).
  • Communication:
    You can give clear, kind, and direct feedback to the team to keep standards high.
