Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time on‑site role for a Sommelier, based in London. The Sommelier will be responsible for curating and managing the restaurant’s wine list, advising guests on wine pairings to complement their meals, and maintaining excellent customer service standards. Key responsibilities include wine inventory management, training staff on wine offerings, staying updated on wine trends, and contributing to the seamless operation of the restaurant’s beverage service.
Qualifications- Expertise in wine knowledge, wine pairing, and wine list curation
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service and engage with guests
- Experience in inventory management and proficiency in maintaining organized records
- Teamwork and leadership capabilities to train and guide staff on wine service and offerings
- A genuine passion for wine and hospitality, with the ability to share knowledge and elevate the guest experience
- WSET or equivalent wine certification is highly desirable
- Previous sommelier experience in a high‑end or fine‑dining environment is preferred
