Chop Suya – Barking
Chop Suya is looking for a skilled and reliable BBQ Grill Chef to join our growing street food team in Barking. If you're passionate about bold flavours, charcoal grilling, and African or Caribbean cuisine, we want to hear from you.
LocationBarking, IG11
Hours- Monday to Friday
- 30 hours per week
£13.50 per hour
Role Responsibilities- Preparing and grilling meats to high quality standards
- Cooking suya and other BBQ items using charcoal grill
- Maintaining food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Managing prep and stock for daily service
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
- Experience with BBQ or grill cooking essential
- Experience in African or Caribbean cuisine preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Food hygiene knowledge (Level 2 preferred)
- Stable weekday hours
- Friendly team environment
