- Monday to Friday between 07:00-17:00 (overtime may be available)

Job IntroductionWe are looking for Food Service Assistants to deliver a high standard of food and beverage service in a busy corporate environment. You will support the preparation, presentation, and service of food while providing a friendly and efficient experience for every customer. This role requires strong teamwork, attention to hygiene and safety, and a positive, professional approach.
What you'll do:Key responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service in all food and beverage areas
- Prepare and present food service areas to required standards
- Serve customers in a polite, friendly, and efficient manner
- Support food preparation with care, including special dietary requirements
- Replenish food, beverages, and service equipment as needed
- Assist with stock control, waste reduction, and sales promotion
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all work areas
- Clean utensils, counters, and equipment after service periods
- Support the setup, service, and clearing of functions and events
- Follow all company and site rules relating to health & safety, hygiene, fire, and COSHH
- Report incidents, near misses, complaints, or compliments promptly
- Attend required training sessions and team meetings
- Carry out reasonable additional duties as requested by supervisors
- Performance expectations
- Consistent service delivery in line with company standards
- Full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Positive feedback from customers and clients
Skills and experience Essential
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in food service, catering, or hospitality
- Previous food handling experience
- Strong customer service focus
- Ability to follow health & safety procedures
- Team player with a professional attitude
- High standards of personal hygiene and presentation
- Basic Food Hygiene certificate
- Experience working in standards-driven or compliance-led environments
