We’re looking for a Bar Supervisor to join the team at Jazz Cafe. This isn’t just about pouring drinks. It’s about setting the pace for the whole room. The doors open. The bar fills fast. Shakers moving. Ice cracking. The stage warming up. You’re in the middle of it, steady, sharp, in control. Service tight. Energy high. Standards locked in. Jazz Cafe is one of London’s most iconic music venues. Two floors. Serious sound. Hip hop, soul, jazz, world and electronic artists from rising stars to legends. And a bar that needs to keep up.

• Running the bar – You’ll oversee busy evening service from start to finish. Quality drinks. Clean stations. Fast tickets. No corners cut.
• Leading the team – You’ll support, train and steady the bar team through high volume nights. You’ll raise standards without killing the atmosphere. High performance, high morale.
• Owning the product – You’ll bring solid drinks and cocktail knowledge. Specs followed properly. Garnishes right. Glassware polished. You take pride in what leaves the pass.
• Building relationships – You’ll build rapport with guests and regulars. You’ll know when to lean in, when to speed up, when to hold the bar steady. Hospitality that feels real, not rehearsed.
• Working with management – You’ll work closely with the management team to keep the offer sharp, competitive and beautifully executed. No stale lists. No lazy service.

• Experience supervising a high volume bar, ideally late night
• Strong cocktail and spirits knowledge
• Confidence leading a team through busy services
• Pride in standards and consistency
• Calm under pressure and good with people
