The Peninsula London is pleased to announce we are seeking a
Bartender Supervisor to join the team within our fine dining bar team - Brooklands, reporting to the Assistant Bar Managers. This is a critical position in creating an efficient yet memorable guest experience through service and a unique beverage offering.
The venue, designed by London architects Archer Humphryes, comprises a sleek main dining room with a sweeping outdoor terrace with enchanting panoramic views across London’s skyline taking in iconic landmarks like St Pauls and the City, the London Eye, and Battersea as well as over three Royal Parks (Hyde Park, Green Park, and St James’ Park).

- Always ensure the delivery of exceptional guest service, providing friendly, yet discreet and unobtrusive service toall guests.
- Supervise and support all bartenders in the team.
- Ensure that consistency and correct service techniques arefollowed by all staff members when preparing or serving a cocktail.
- Establish and maintain positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships
- Exceed guest expectations with service, in keeping with the Peninsula Service Principles, focusing on the core principles, looking for improvement for better service standards with a general theme of anticipating the guests' needs.
- Observe and maintain the daily condition of all physical facilities and equipment in the fine dining bar, public area and make recommendations for corrections and improvement as needed.
- Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation of both classics and innovative alternatives with previous experience within a cocktail bar at a luxury level.
- Passion for service and quality beverage menu offerings, with an appetite to exceed expectations and be creative.
- Experience supporting a team of Bartenders.
- A second language would be advantageous although not essential however excellent communication skills are required.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, highly adaptable, naturally positive.
- Flexibility, and capability of working under pressure.
