Dispensing Optician

About the Role As a qualified Dispensing Optician, you will provide a high level of customer care and expert advice to make a real difference to our customers and keep them coming back. You will work in one of our stores, reporting to the Store Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Providing clinical support in store for regulated dispensing
  • Inspiring your Optical team by sharing knowledge to offer the best service
  • Listening to customers’ needs and offering expertise and advice
  • Helping customers choose the correct eyewear and ensuring they receive the best product suited to their needs
  • Supporting the team to deliver an efficient model day and operational processes to ensure that the business trades legally
  • Providing expert knowledge for patients with specialist requirements
Qualifications
  • Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
  • Passion for learning and development, completing all CPD training as part of the GOC requirement
