Position: Jo Malone  Assistant Manager - 37.5hrs over 5 days - permanent

From the signature Hand and Arm massage to hosting wedding consultations where you will help people bottle some of their most precious memories, our services and events are the talk of the town. As Assistant Boutique Manager, you will elevate these events and draw success from them, while ensuring the store runs smoothly and the team stays aligned with the Boutique and Brand vision.

You will support the Boutique Manager in all aspects of running the business and will efficiently take control in the Boutique Manager's absence.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven retail management/assistant retail management experience
  • The ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service
  • Previous business planning experience including setting sales and customer service targets, sales analysis and staff scheduling
  • Previous retail operations experience including inventory and facilities management and cash reconciliation
  • Proven track record of leading a team to achieve sales and customer service targets
  • Experience of creating and executing in-store events
  • Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced work environment

Description:

We are seeking an inspirational and dynamic Assistant Counter Manager to lead, coach and develop our team of Sales Associates to achieve all sales, customer service and operational targets. Candidates should have proven supervisory, coaching and retail operations skills in a fast paced retail environment. This role is suitable for an ambitious, high performing self-starter with a flair for retail and coaching others to reach their full potential.

Qualifications
  • Proven retail experience preferably within cosmetics
  • The ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service
  • Previous supervisory experience with a proven track record of coaching/mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets
  • Retail operations experience including inventory management and cash reconciliation
  • Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced work environment
  • Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
