Job Overview

A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a product development admin assistant / assistant buyer to join a British furniture and lighting brand. The brand creates contemporary designs that are classic, yet creative and showcase own-branded products as well as products from innovative designers.

By having exceptional trend forecasting skills, the product development admin assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the buyers in creating exceptional ranges from design to final product. You will be responsible for managing product design and negotiation, analysing and reviewing sales, managing orders, ensuring critical path is adhered to, approving samples and packaging, whilst also overseeing all necessary admin.

• Excellent attention to detail when considering the quality of product, being trend aware and keeping updated on industry developments.
• Analytical skills to ensure margins are met and sale prices are competitive.
• Strong Excel, problem‑solving and communications skills.
