Position:
Retail Assistant – Part Time, Evenings & Weekends.

Location:

King Street, Blackburn.

16 hours across 4 days per week (minimum 16 hours over 4 days each week), including weekday evenings and all day on Saturday and Sunday.

• Ages 16‑20: £10.10 per hour

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a pleasant goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

• Friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy and able to manage multiple tasks such as deliveries, till work, customer service, cleaning and stock rotation.
• Reliable and dependable as a key part of a small team; you will help keep the team running smoothly.
• Flexible regarding shift planning; willing to cover for teammates when needed and adapt to rota changes.

Many staff start in a retail assistant role and move on to Shop Manager, Area Manager or other central positions within Farmfoods.
