About

The Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. This role supports the Merchandiser across stock management, sales analysis, and operational execution to optimise performance and maximise opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Support Merchandiser in stock trading, sales management, and category performance analysis.
  • Maintain WSSIs, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Manage delivery schedules, stock intake, and cross-department communication for collection launches.
  • Conduct category, returns, and sizing analyses by region and channel to maximize full-price sell-through.
  • Oversee MAA in intake management, store allocations, and reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely eCommerce product launches and online imagery updates.
  • Produce and analyse weekly, monthly, and seasonal sales and stock reports to drive strategic planning.
  • Liaise with suppliers and warehouses to monitor deliveries and address issues.
  • Lead critical path tracking meetings, ensuring actions are commercial and escalating concerns when needed.
  • Act as the main contact point for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Deputise for Merchandiser, managing reporting, supplier issues, and cross-functional meetings when required.
Skills
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data manipulation and reporting.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commercially focused with a proactive and initiative-driven mindset.
  • Leadership and mentoring abilities to guide and support junior team members.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
