As the Senior Assistant Buyeron Face + Bodyyou will play a critical role in managing the beautybrandsat

ASOS. As part ofthis team, you will support in trading and managingtheexisting portfolio, regularlyidentifyingand implementing opportunities to grow our business while also scoping out new partnerships to ensure the most relevant and balanced rangefor our consumer.

The Face + Body team isfocused on delivering a curated edit of the best global beauty brands for the trend-led,fashion obsessed ASOS consumer.

Theyareresponsible for working with market leading brands to grow partnershipsthrough strong JBP’s, driving tradeand mitigating riskall while maximising profitability. In addition,theFace + Body teamwork closely with a host of stakeholdersinternally such as Marketing, Digital Trade and Supply Chainto support in the delivery of KPI’s across both Face + Body and the wider business.

• Supporting the Buyerin curating the best edit of global beauty products for the ASOS consumer, building commercial and balanced ranges.
• Maintaining up to date knowledge of the Beauty market and global competitors – considering pricing, product and macro trends thatimpactour consumer and their purchasing habits.
• Identifyingkey trends and emerging brands to deliver relevant andtimelynewness.
• Building excellent relationships with our brand partners, implementing robust JBP’s to deliver aligned KPI’s utilising a host of different trading levers.
• Working closely with the Buyer andthe
  
  Merchandising team to trade and deliver the departmental KPI’s including Sales & Profit.
  
  Analysing data and using reporting to drive decision-making.
• Actively contributing to the department strategy,identifying risks and opportunities and utilising data to back upnew ideasand recommendations-regularly presenting these to the Buyer and Merchandiser.
• Managing the critical path to ensure that relevant launch dates and key milestones are met.
• Working closely with Marketing and AMG (ASOS Media Group) to elevate key trends and product moments, maximising the visibility of Face + Body brands on ASOS.
• Building relationships with other key internal stakeholders across ASOSincluding
  
  Digital Trade, Supply Chain, Events and Operations to support thedayto dayrunning of Face + Body.
• Collaborating with peer group across Face + Body and the wider retail functionto support broader activations and projects.
• Overseeing and supporting the training and development of the Buying Assistants across the team.
• Supporting our culture by championing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies.

• Hasprevious Beauty Buying  experience at Assistant Buyerlevelwithin a fast-paced, global Retailer
• Lives and breathes fashion& beautyand is passionate about the product–specifically the Beauty category
• Has a strong understanding of 20-something culture and the ASOS customer, and is able to spot the latest trends relevant for them
• Is organised, proactive and comfortableworkingin a high-pressured environment
• Has great attention to detail to ensure that all theimportant details are captured and deadlines are met
• Has the ability to build strong relationshipswithinternal&external stakeholders
• Effectivelydemonstratesthe ASOS values;
