Location: Greater London

Overview

The Sales Coordinator is expected to provide a full sales processing and support service to Lee Products Ltd and its customers including as necessary, the European subsidiaries, India and Middle East. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining excellent relationships with customers and suppliers and will liaise with the General Manager and Sales Engineers to be aware of specific customer situations and to meet appropriate sales targets.

This may include customer visits as appropriate.

Responsibilities
  • Quoting in dollars and sterling either written or verbal as well as processing of customer orders, specific requests are adhered to when reasonable, correct delivery details noted etc.
  • Ensuring customers’ specifications are met, e.g., Quality, customer discount schemes, special pricing, First Article Inspections, Export Control/ITAR.
  • Raising purchase orders for the supplier and scheduling deliveries so that the goods are delivered in good time for shipment to customers as well as sending order acknowledgements.
  • Releasing Delivery Notes. Ensuring that delivery schedules are adhered to which includes strict maintenance of customer amendments and schedules.
  • Support stockroom staff to pick, pack and despatch goods in a timely manner to the customer.
  • Thorough checking and authorising Certificates of Conformance
  • Create invoices and support Accounts with payment queries and credit notes for returned or faulty goods. Consulting with Accounts and Goods In departments for relevant information on receipt of shipment, stock control and rotation. Debtor control.

  • Has a professional and confident manner in person and by telephone
  • Experience with SAP B1/ERP/inventory systems an advantage
Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalency plus additional specialized training (can be on-the-job training). Over three years and up to five years of related computer experience.

Physical and Language Requirements
  • PHYSICAL AND VISUAL REQUIREMENT:
    Position requires constant mental/visual demand viewing computer screens and data, in addition to extensive keyboarding, finger dexterity, and eye/hand coordination.
  • LANGUAGE

    SKILLS:

    Constant oral and written communication in English. Considerable interaction with others discussing work issues.
  • Constant mental demand. Logic and reasoning along with decision making required.
Work Environment

Work is performed in an office environment. No travel required.
